Custom vs Modular Exhibition Stands: A Practical Comparison
The question that changes your exhibition budget for the whole year: build a new stand for every show, or invest in one you can reuse?

Custom-built stands
Designed and built for your brand and one specific show. Full freedom in shape, height and materials, ideal for major shows and launches that need a strong presence. The downside: usually used once, and storage or adaptation may not be worth it.
Modular stands
Built from frames and panels that can be assembled in different sizes and layouts, with only graphics changing between shows. Lower cost for every participation after the first and shorter build times. The downside: relatively less freedom in shape.
What we usually recommend
For companies at two or more shows a year: a modular base structure with custom signature elements such as the reception counter, logo sculpture or product wall. The stand stays distinctive while the yearly cost drops.
Questions to help you decide
How many shows a year? Are stand sizes similar? Do you have storage, or does your contractor provide it? Is your identity stable or changing with each campaign? If the answers point to repeated shows of similar size, modular is the smarter choice.
Why the factory matters
A contractor with its own factory can design, adapt, store and maintain modules between shows, which makes reuse practical rather than a promise on paper.
