7 Things That Decide the Cost of an Exhibition Booth in Saudi Arabia
Two booths of the same size can differ several times in price. These are the seven decisions that make the difference, and how to plan each one before you ask for quotations.

1. Stand size and how open it is
Price grows with floor area, but also with how many sides are open. An island stand open on four sides needs finished walls and display areas all round, while an inline stand with one open side needs far less. Decide early how many sides face the aisle, because it changes the whole layout.
2. Custom-built or modular
A custom booth is designed and fabricated only for your brand and show. It looks unique but is usually used once. A modular system uses frames and panels that can be rebuilt in different sizes. For companies that exhibit several times a year, a custom look built on reusable modules often gives the best value over two or three shows.
3. Materials and finishes
Painted MDF, laminates, real wood, metal, glass, fabric graphics and backlit panels all have very different costs and build times. The finish you can touch, such as reception counters, product displays and meeting areas, matters most. Walls far from visitors can use simpler materials without changing how the booth feels.
4. Screens, lighting and technology
LED walls, touch screens, interactive games and special lighting add both rental and installation cost. Choose technology for what it does for visitors: explaining a product, collecting leads or drawing people in from the aisle. One well-placed screen usually performs better than many small ones.
5. Height, structure and organiser rules
Double-deck booths, hanging banners and stands taller than the standard height need structural drawings, extra approvals and sometimes rigging fees from the venue. Every show in Riyadh has its own rules, so read the exhibitor manual before the design is fixed.
6. Timeline
A booth confirmed three to four months before the show leaves time for design, approvals and careful fabrication. Short timelines mean overtime in the workshop and premium logistics. Planning early is the simplest way to protect both quality and budget.
7. What happens after the show
Storage, refurbishment and reuse change the real cost of a booth. If you plan to exhibit again, ask your contractor to design parts that can be stored and reused, and agree on storage before the show ends.
Before you ask for a quotation
Send the show name and dates, stand number and size, how many sides are open, your goals for the show, and any brand guidelines. With these, a contractor can give you an accurate quotation instead of a rough estimate.
