A launch lasts one day, but its success depends on dozens of decisions before it. Use this checklist to make sure nothing is missing.

Jetour — guest experience.

Message and audience

1. What single message should every guest leave with? 2. Who is the audience: media, dealers, customers, influencers, or a mix? 3. How will we measure success: coverage, enquiries, bookings?

Venue and date

4. Does the date clash with major events or exhibitions? 5. Does the venue fit the product and its access, especially for cars? 6. Are arrival, parking and registration easy?

Stage and reveal

7. How will the product be revealed: curtain, light, screen or motion? 8. Is the stage 3D approved? 9. Is there a full rehearsal with sound and lighting?

Content

10. Launch film ready and approved. 11. Screen content in the right sizes. 12. Speeches timed in a written run of show.

Guests and media

13. Invitation list and RSVPs. 14. A media kit with photos and facts. 15. A photo corner for influencers and guests.

Hospitality and experience

16. Hospitality that fits the duration and guests. 17. A product experience after the reveal: test drives, samples or an interactive demo. 18. A keepsake in the launch identity.

After the event

19. Photos and video ready to publish within 24 hours. 20. Follow-up with interested guests and customers the same week.

A tip from the field

At the Jetour T1 launch, the reveal moment and the guest experience after it were what people remembered. Give that moment more time and budget than anything else.
